As a progressive, non-Jewish person, I have found too many leftists blindly signing on to Hamas's slogans and its alternative facts. This, to me, reeks of antisemitism. That said, Israeli governments created many of the conditions that would lead to this point. You cannot impose effective apartheid on a people and expect the world to love you. There is blame to go around on all sides but as Tom Friedman (of all people) has said, Israel risks much by killing more Palestinian civilians than it already has and we should be hoping for peace.
