Calling the other side fascist is quite accurate, and NOT calling it fascist is to abdicate responsibility. In fact, your comment makes you complicit with fascism.

Educate yourself on facsist movements. They are typified by a variety of discernible characteristics, including:

Overwhelming nationalistic, xenophobic, jingoistic, and racist ideological commitments.

Human rights violations linked to demonization of opposition and of ethnic and religious groups.

Militarism, worship of the police and military members, and an obsession with national security.

Disdain for intellectuals, for science, for the arts, and for free thought.

If you don’t see these as CORE descriptions of the Republican Party, then you are a Vichy collaborator. And yes, that’s strong language because it needs to be. Read Hannah Arendt if you don’t get it (which you don’t).
