Centrists cannot solve:
- Climate change
- Inequality
- COVID
- The problem of rising fascism
- Police brutality
- Systemic racism
That's not to say that doctrinaire Marxists can solve these problems, either. What's needed is a pragmatic, revolutionary leftism that completely overhauls the carbon economy and reinvigorates democracy. Not that we are anywhere close to having such a movement in the US.
