Honestly, we are doomed. All those "liberal" blue cities have come under the heel of red legislatures and governors. (See: COVID; the fake CRT panic; redistricting). Those of us in blue states are terrified of Trump 2024 and the functional demise of American democracy. This is truly ancient Rome circa 475 CE.
