I endorse every concept in this piece, but the timing remains nebulous. In 1972, Limits to Growth was published, over 50 years ago. The threat of climate change seems more imminent because the evidence is clearer (especially in 2023). The ecological tipping point could be much further in the future, just as it was in 1972.
