It’s ghoulish to delight in the suffering of others. But it’s also ghoulish to proudly, defiantly hold on to ignorant anti-vaccination views… then end up cost other people their lives as well.

It’s also ghoulish to ban mask mandates and yes, to ban vaccination mandates, then expect the vaccinated to be silent when they can’t go to the hospital themselves for care. Because the hospitals are full.

It’s also ghoulish to subject innocent children to the terrible risk of delta because you won’t get vaccinated.

And it’s also ghoulish to breed variants that break through the vaccines, imperiling everyone, because you’re an unvaccinated petri dish.

I agree that schadenfreude is completely unwarranted here. But pressure and condemnation are not. This affects the vaccinated deeply, too. We need widespread vaccination passports and mandates, ASAP.
