It’s not up to all of us to lower the temperature. The Republican Party is a fascist entity; there is no amount of appeasement that will turn them around. It’s up to Democrats to *fight*, much harder than we are, much harder than Biden and team are willing to do. Otherwise, the current path has a single endpoint and that’s Republican-dominated autocracy.
