The problem is that this "collapse" doesn't mean they're going away. To the contrary, facsism is on the rise and will continue to actively subjugate people in coming decades, even though what we need is activist government action on climate. It's a pretty grim picture because we will clearly pass the climate tipping points over the *decades* it will take to unwind growing authoritarianism.
