This is a puzzling characterization. Anicca, impermanence, is one of three marks of existence, along with dukkha and anatta (no fixed self). Anicca isn't seen as bad, but ubiquitously true; nothing is permanent, change is frequent. Retaining equanimity in the face of swirling impermanence is a key path to freedom in Buddhist psychology. This is strikingly consistent with psychology.
