This is some Pollyanna nonsense. Climate change, rising fascism, reinvigorated racism, theocratic impulses, and economic inequality are all running out of control. Straight white men are shielded, perhaps, but even Australia was on fire just 2 years ago. There's a difference between opening your eyes to what's actually happening in the real world and retreating to some cryptocurrency VR fantasy land.
